Editions Design Collection is pleased to announce the 20th anniversary of our launch as manufacturers of custom furniture to the trade on December 18, 1995.  

After starting our company in 1968 in Corpus Christi as an interior design team, we relocated to Houston in 1979 to further our interior design efforts.  After many years of designing custom items for our clients and other designers, we assembled a small collection of metal, wood, stone and glass furniture.  As we moved forward, the design collection has grown to over 300 variations today, all with custom capabilities and national representation.

About 12 years ago at a Chicago market, one of our showrooms asked us if we ever made aluminum furniture. We said no, but said that we would think about it.  

That evening back at the Drake hotel, we began sketches of our hand crafted solid aluminum garden furniture and the Mariposa Collection was launched.  

Today, Editions Design Collection offers a broad range of seating and tables, all with custom capabilities and in powder coated finishes, all crafted in Houston and built to order.

The outdoor fabric collection is a collaborative effort with Perennials Fabrics and we introduced a collection of solution dyed acrylic fabrics which are exclusive to Editions Design Collection.

We are eager to begin 2016 with plans to introduce new items to our furniture collections and, as with all of our designs, they will continue to be crafted in Houston.
